This course gives an Overview of Accounting Requirements for Charities
including The Charities Accounts (Scotland)2006 Regulations,
The requirements for preparing accounts on a receipts and payments
basis, An exercise in preparing receipts and payments accounts and
External scrutiny of accounts. This course gives an Overview of Duties of Trustees under OSCR including Background to the Charities and Trustee Investment (Scotland) Act 2005, Who are Charity Trustees?, General and specific
duties of Trustees, Remuneration of Charity Trustees, Breach of duty, Sources of further guidance

Disability Equality/Awareness
This course is about challenging understanding of disability, changing practices
and addressing barriers, rather than just ‘improving attitudes’. The material is devised, developed
and delivered by a disabled trainer with many year’s experience. The course is discussion based and
interactive. This training will assist you to ensure that your organisation is inclusive.

a.m. Disciplinary & Grievance p.m. Termination of Employment
This one day is split into two standalone training courses and are a must for
line managers and supervisors who need to know how to handle disciplinary & grievance issues at work.
No prior knowledge of employment law is necessary as delegates wil be provided with all the essential tools
for handling these issues through a very practical and easy to follow series of case studies and exercises.

Aid
A full day session designed to instruct individuals who wish
to become a designated appointed person and take responsibility for managing first aid arrangements within low risk areas.
A valid three-year certificate will be awarded after completion to the required standard of competency.

Understanding Social Enterprise – 2 day Course

expertise to understand the particular features, challenges and opportunities for social enterprise. Cost: £128
